Objective:To explore the clinical effect of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction combined with acupuncture on ischemic optic neu-ropathy.Methods:106patients with ischemic optic neuropathy admitted to the Third Hospital of Handan City from August 2021to Au-gust 2023were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into control group(53cases)and study group(53cases).The con-trol group was treated with conventional Western medicine,and the study group was treated with Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction combined with acupuncture on this basis.The clinical effect of the two groups was compared.Results:Compared with the control group,the total ef-fective rate of the study group was higher significantly(94.34%vs 79.25%,P＜0.05).After treatment,the scores of the main syn-drome and secondary syndrome of TCM in both groups were lower than before treatment,and compared with the control group,the score in the study group was lower significantly(P＜0.05).Compared with before treatment,the affected ocular arterial resistance in-dex(RI),average visual field defect decreased,peak systolic blood flow velocity(PSV),best corrected visual acuity and average visual field light sensitivity increased in both groups after treatment.Compared with the control group,the above indexes changed more significantly in the study group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction combined with acupuncture in the treatment of ische-mic neuropathy can effectively improve the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine,improve the parameters of blood flow of the eye artery,promote the recovery of visual acuity and visual field defects,and help to improve the effect of western medicine.
