Effects of Gancao Xiexin decoction combined with probiotic aloe fermentation gel on oral flora and serum inflammatory factors in patients with recurrent oral ulcer
Objective:To analyze the effect of Gancao Xiexin decoction combined with probiotic aloe vera fermentation gel on oral flora and serum inflammatory factors in patients with recurrent oral ulcer.Methods:93patients with recurrent oral ulcer admitted to our hospital from January 2022to January 2023were retrospectively selected as research objects,and were divided into control group(n=46)and observation group(n=47)according to different treatment regimens.The control group was treated with probiotic aloe vera fermentation gel,and the observation group was treated with Gancao Xiexin Decoction on the basis of the control group.The therapeutic effect of the two groups was compared.The pain relief time and ulcer healing time after treatment were compared between the two groups.The relative abundance of oral flora(streptococcus and Veillonella),serum inflammatory factors[tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6)]and immune indicators(CD3+,CD4+,CD8+)were compared be-tween the two groups before and after treatment.The recurrence rate of oral ulcer after 6months of treatment was compared between the two groups.Results:The treatment effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group,the difference was statisti-cally significant(P＜0.05).The pain relief time and ulcer healing time of the observation group were better than those of the control group after treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The levels of TNF-α,IL-6,CRP and CD8+in two groups after treatment were lower than before treatment,and observation group was lower than control group,the differences were sta-tistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the relative abundance of streptococcus and Vironella and the levels of CD3+and CD4+in two groups were higher than before treatment,and the observation group was higher than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The recurrence rate of oral ulcer in the observation group after 6months of treatment was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Gancao Xiexin decoction com-bined with probiotic aloe fermentation gel has a good therapeutic effect on recurrent oral ulcer,which can improve the level of oral mi-croflora,reduce inflammatory reaction and improve immune function.
