Trust,Human Relationship and New Product Performance of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Foreign-related Manufacturing Industry:Mediating Effect Based on Information Sharing
With the in-depth implementation of the"Belt and Road"initiative,the small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises which have overseas business(hereinafter referred to as"foreign-related")are playing an increasingly important role in national economic development.Faced with the current complex and ever-changing international environment,how to effectively promote the performance of the new products is the key for small and medium-sized foreign-related manufacturing enterprises to gain competitive advantage and achieve high-quality development.With the small and medium-sized foreign-related manufacturing enterprises as samples,this study empirically tests the effects of trust,human relationship and information sharing on the new product performance of small and medium-sized foreign-related manufacturing enterprises.The research results show that trust and human relationship can not only directly enhance the new product performance of small and medium-sized foreign-related manufacturing enterprises,but also have indirect impacts through the mediating effect of information sharing.Further analysis reveals that the business environment positively regulates the relationship between information sharing and the new product performance of small and medium-sized foreign-related manufacturing enterprises,and that the more complex the business environment is,the greater the impact of information sharing on the new product performance of small and medium-sized foreign-related manufacturing enterprises is.The research conclusion provides a reference for improving the performance of new products by small and medium-sized foreign-related manufacturing enterprises.
