Based on relevant literature and policy analysis,the data of 7 expert interviews and 56 survey questionnaires,this paper conducts an in-depth survey of the basic situation,main business,operation guarantee,work demand and development constraints of professional archives in China,summarizes and analyzes the current performance of the functions of professional archives in China,and the problems facing the construction and development,etc.,to explore the functions of professional archives in China in the Archives storage base,Archives Utilization Center,Patriotic Education Base,Government Information Public Access Center,Electronic Document Management Center,Professional Data(Collaboration)Management Center,Scientific Knowledge Popularization and Publicity Base,Professional Archives Management Support,and puts forward suggestions for the development of professional archives.
