There are many differences between paper records and traditional medium audio-visual records.And hence they have different management modes.Comparing with traditional medium audio-visual records,the management requirements change in many aspects for digital audio-visual records.However,the digital audio-visual records are managed in the traditional mode just in the age of electronic records.In view of this,this paper sets out from the base principles forarchive management,discussing the advantages and disadvantages of current management standards for digital audio-visual records.Then it brings forward innovative considerations on the classification and description with the purpose of optimizing management mode for digital audio-visual records.
