Abnormality Analysis and Improvement Measures for Chlorine Production System by Electrolysis of Seawater
In allusion to the problems encountered during the operation of the chlorine production system by electrolysis of seawa-ter in a coastal nuclear power plant, such as high hydrogen concentration in the electrolysis room, salt accumulation in the system and uneven dosing in the circulating water channel, the causes of these problems are thoroughly analyzed.Based on this analysis, the facilities such as sodium hypochlorite storage tanks and chlorine dosing frames are improved, and the operation strategies and rules are adjusted. These measures effectively address the aforementioned issues, ensuring the stable operation of the chlorine pro-duction system by electrolysis of seawater and providing reference for the design of similar systems in coastal power plants.
