Characteristics of Gravity and Magnetic Anomalies in the Northern Dipping End of Mining Rock Masses in the Central Shandong Province and Prospecting Direction
The mine rock mass in central Shandong province is an important geological body for iron ore mineralization, and has always been a hot area for exploration and research. However, the study of gravity and magnetic anomaly characteristics of the northern plunging end is relatively lagging behind. In this work, airborne magnetic survey data with the scale of 1∶10000 has been used,is the first time.Combining with gravity data, systematic joint interpretation of gravity and magnetic anomalies in the northern in-clined area of mine rock mass in Luzhong area has been carried out,and geological and geophysical favora-ble prospecting indicators have been updated and improved.Combining with geological understanding, three favorable prospecting directions have been proposedin the deep part of west wing, deep part of east wing and two wings of north plunging end of the mine arc anticline of Zhangjiawa Ⅲ deposit.Through comprehensive analysis,it is showed that main ore bodies in the area are not closed in the deep part.It is speculated that there are still undiscovered blind ore bodies in the coverage area. The outer convex branch anomaly area with low magnetic anomaly, the deep part of Zhangjiawa iron mine and the northern part of Yezhuang area still have great prospecting potential. It will provide a favorable indication for deep prospec-ting work in the study area.
