Control of Linear Discharge Zone on the Development of Underground Karst and the Role of Water-rich Zone Formation——Taking Karst Water-bearing System in Feixian County as an Example
In order to find water-rich areas in the distribution area of Cambrian-Ordovician carbonate rocks in Feixian county, build a water source for centralized water supply, through exploration and testing methods, such as river flow monitoring, hydrogeological drilling, and dynamic monitoring,it has been de-termined that the aquifer of the karst aquifer system in Feixian county is mainly composed of carbonate rock fractures and karst water bearing rock formations from Chaomidian formation to Badou formation. The aquifer has relatively closed boundary conditions and a basically unified hydrodynamic and hydrochem-ical field. The system is divided into supply area, supply runoff area, and collection and discharge area. The maximum depth of karst development is 132m,200m and 300m respectively. The aquifer medium gradually changes from dissolution cracks and pores to dissolution cavities and caves. It is suggested that the formation of linear discharge zones is related to high terrain in the north and south parts, while low a-long the river, and the obstruction of weakly permeable rock layers in the north, and the direct exposure of karst aquifers in the riverbed. The linear discharge zone of karst water along Junhe river,Wenliang river and Qianhe river plays an important role in controlling the intensity and depth of karst development. The area near the main linear discharge zone has formed a strong water rich area with a single well water inflow of 5000~10000m3/d and greater than 10000 m3/d.It is the preferred location for centralized water supply for urban life and industry in Feixian county.
