Evaluation of Heavy Metal Contamination and Ecological Risk of Soil in Southern Yangmadao in Yantai City in Shandong Province
Abstracr:Based on content testing analysis of heavy metal(Cr,Ni,Cu,Zn,As,Cd,Pb and Hg)of soil in Quaternary distribution area in southern Yangmadao in Yantai city,by using statistical analysis, geological accumulation index method and potential ecological risk index method, the correlation, pollution level and ecological risk of elements have been studied and evaluated. It is showed that influenced by human activi-ties to a certain extent, except for Ni,high value areas are mainly distributed in the middle to southwest of the Quaternary system.Except for Cr and Cu,the average element content exceeds the background value.Correlation analysis shows that there is a high positive correlation between Zn and Hg,Zn and Cu,as well as between Cu,Cr and As.Hg has an abnormally high value at TR2 point, indicating moderate pollution and a high level of risk. The pollution level of each element is evaluated as Hg>As>Zn>Cd>Ni>Pb>Cu>Cr,with a risk level of Hg>Cd>As>Ni>Pb>Cu>Cr>Zn.Based on comprehensive evaluation of the potential ecological risk level,TR2 points are classified as extremely severe, while the rest are classi-fied as moderate to low.
