Tang Dynasty clothing culture,as a brilliant gem in ancient Chinese culture,is unique and has far-reaching influence.Particularly,Ruqun,with rich cultural connotations,showcases vibrant designs and holds great artistic value.With numerous styles and bright color tones,it enjoys a prestigious reputation.Even in modern times,Tang Ruqun still possesses significant research and practical value.However,due to the significant differences in attire and aesthetics between modern society and the ancient one,it is necessary to adapt and improve the design for contemporary aesthetic preferences and dressing habits.In the paper,we focus on exploring how to integrate the aesthetic characteristics of Tang Dynasty Ruqun into modern clothing design,starting from its design philosophy and artistic traits.
