The integration of college English and clothing design can not only broaden students'horizons and cultivate students'international perspective,but also help students grasp the development trends of the clothing industry and enhance their English application ability.Based on this,the paper first expounds the necessity of the integration of clothing design and college English education,analyzes the characteristics of professional English of clothing design,and then,on this basis,deeply discusses the universal dilemmas existing in the integration of college English education and clothing design,such as the lack of flexibility but rigidity of the teaching model,and the failure to create a good teaching situation,and the insufficient attention from the students to clothing-profession English.And then around the characteristics of clothing design and students'learning needs,the specific corresponding measures are proposed,including the reasonable arrangement of teaching tasks should be put forward to create an efficient classroom;the teaching content should be arranged properly to convert the ways of knowledge expression;a thematic teaching atmosphere should be created to build a good teaching scene,the students'practical operation ability should be strengthened,and the curriculum assessment should be optimized.
