The Impact of Capital Flows Across Regions on the Operating Efficiency of Logistics Enterprises in the Context of a Unified National Market
Capital flow across regions is an important driver of regional and industrial economic development, but few studies have focused on how enterprises benefit from capital flows across regions. The logistics enterprises are taken as an object, the impact of cross-regional flows of corporate capital in the form of the establishment of cross-location subsidiaries on operational efficiency is studied, the data of listed logistics enterprises from 2010-2022 is taken, and it is found that:(1)the establishment of cross-location subsidiaries by logistics enterprises helps to reduce the transaction costs, realize the scale effect, and improve the operational efficiency of the enterprises themselves;(2)for the logistics enterprises located in the region of non-distribution nodes, the improvement effect is more obvious. The study shows that the cross-regional flow of capital of logistics enterprises helps to make up for the shortage of inter-regional circulation infrastructure, and while responding to the requirements of the national strategy for the cross-regional balanced development of the modern circulation industry,it also cracks the inefficient operation problems faced by logistics enterprises to a certain extent, realizing a win-win situation for all parties.
