Exploration and Practice of Building First-Class Finance Major in Local Applied Undergraduate Colleges and Universities—Taking Guangzhou College of Applied Science and Technology as an Example
The"Double Ten Thousand Plan"launched by the Ministry of Education will be a key focus and foothold for the development of local applied undergraduate colleges.Guangzhou University of Applied Science and Technology takes the construction of first-class major in finance as an opportunity to promote the development of professional connotation in terms of training programs,teacher teams,teaching resources,etc.However,currently there are problems with the finance major in colleges and universities,such as inaccurate training objectives,incomplete course content,and insufficient teaching methods.Therefore,colleges and universities should adhere to characteristic development,content optimization,teaching innovation,and ability enhancement,and under the guidance of OBE education philosophy,accelerate the construction of first-class finance major and improve the quality of applied finance talent cultivation.
