An Analysis of the Reproduction of Female Robe and Costume Styles in the Eastern Zhou State of Chu
The dragon and phoenix embroidered light yellow silky cotton robe(N14)was taken as an example in the article.Through methods such as literature survey, data collection and analysis, and isometric transformation, its form and plate structure were reproduced and analyzed.A 3D hu-man body model was established, and the simulation of the fabric pattern was carried out using CLO3D virtual fitting technology. The results demonstrated that the 3D virtual fitting technology could realize the virtual restoration of female robes from the Chu State in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. These robes could be worn on a specific virtual model for three-dimensional display. The Chu robe, being a valuable national costume, was the focus of this study. The research into its digital recovery methods holds significant practical importance for the protection, heritage, and innovation of other national costumes.
