Research on fatigue damage detection method for beam-column joints of prefabricated buildings
Conventional fatigue damage detection of beam-column joints in prefabricated buildings mainly relies on beam-column image analysis. However, this approach overlooks the influence of internal damage in the joints, resulting in significant differences between the relative variation coefficient and the actual coefficient in the detection results. Therefore,a study was conducted to investigate the fatigue damage detection method for beam-column joints in prefabricated buildings.By placing sensors around the beam-column joints in prefabricated buildings and analyzing the strain state of the joints, the research combines the internal energy dissipation value of the beam-column joints to calculate the fatigue damage energy co-efficient.This coefficient is then used to analyze the axial force of the joints based on the strain energy density factor, thus obtaining the detection values for the fatigue damage of the beam-column joints.Ex-perimental results indicate that the proposed method yields detection results for beam-column joint fatigue damage with relatively small differences in the relative coefficient of variation. The accuracy of the detec-tion results is high, satisfying the practical needs of safe operation and maintenance of beam-column joints of prefabricated building.
