Numerical Simulation and Parameter Optimization of Progressive Forming of Irregular Parts
Progressive forming has attracted widespread attention due to its flexible process and strong adaptability.This article takes a magnesium alloy flower shaped irregular part as an example to simulate the progressive forming process.Firstly,the forming trajectory is set,and then the FEM model was established for numerical simulation to study the impact of different parameters of the forming process on forming quality,analyze their impacting patterns,and provide the optimal forming process parameters,which has a certain guiding significance for actual production.
