Analysis of Industrial Frequency Overvoltage in Offshore Wind Power Delivery System Based on Equivalent Wind Turbine Modeling
The problem of industrial frequency over-voltage in offshore wind power delivery system affects the ability of wind power delivery and cable transmission. In order to solve the above problems, this paper firstly describes the mechanism of IF overvoltage generation in offshore wind power delivery system, builds a grid-sea cable-offshore wind farm delivery system model by using PSCAD,and carries out wind turbine equivalence simulation based on the equipment subgroup and equivalence algorithm.Simulation calculations are carried out for the three main causes of temporary IF overvoltage generation, such as capacitive rise effect, asymmetrical ground fault and load shedding with fault. The calculation results show that the most serious IF overvoltage is generated when single-phase grounding load shedding occurs in the middle of the cable.By changing the parameters of the submarine cable in the simulation calculation, the effects of cable length, conductor layer thickness and insulation layer thickness on the IF overvoltage are further clarified, and an effective method on the reduction of temporary IF overvoltage is proposed.
