Research on the Application of Distributed Photovoltaic Power Generation Technology in Urban Rail Transit Vehicle Depot
Based on the industrial policy and characteristics of vehicle depot, the analysis was conducted on the current application status of distributed photovoltaic technology in rail transportation, including installation methods of photovoltaic modules, electricity generation, costs in regions with different annual irradiation levels, static investment payback period, grid connection methods and development directions. The results indicate that the BAPV installation method is suitable for vehicle depot warehouses, elevated station roofs, and slopes along rail transit lines. While the BIPV installation method is suitable for comprehensive buildings with high requirements for external facade effects, office buildings,as well as large-scale station buildings, canopies, and other structures.Based on the case calculations, the minimum static investment payback period for A-grade areas with annual irradiation is 8.13 years, for B-grade areas it is 10.23 years, and for C-grade areas it is 13.80 years. The maximum static investment payback period for each region is lower than the power warranty period of the photovoltaic modules. When calculating the electricity generation and costs of distributed photovoltaic systems for different project vehicle depot, various factors such as natural environmental conditions, local electricity prices, and the layout plan of the large base can be considered and calculated using the methods described in this paper.
