Study on Microstructure and Tensile Properties of Annealed TC6 Titanium Alloy
The annealing temperature of different systems was set up,and the annealing treatment of TC6 titanium alloy was carried out.The microstructure and tensile properties of the annealed TC6 titanium alloy were analyzed. The results show that the increase of annealing temperature will dissolve the original α phase, and a large number of new α phases are precipitated in the structure. In the process of increasing annealing temperature, coarse β grains appear in the structure. The strength of the alloy increases with the increase of annealing temperature, but the plasticity decreases. After low annealing temperature treatment, the tensile fracture is mainly composed of dense dimples, and the plasticity of the alloy is better. After high annealing temperature treatment, the tensile fracture surface shows a rough texture morphology similar to rock, and there are obvious tearing edges and cleavage steps, and a small amount of dimples are mixed in the fracture.
