Influences of Soil Structure on Vibration Drainage Volume of Soft Soils
In view of the current research blank that influences of soil structure was not considered in vibration drainage methods to strengthen soft soil foundation, influences of soil structure on vibration drainage volume of soft soils were dis-cussed taking the most representative vibration drainage volume among standards for measuring the vibration drainage effect as the research object.Cementation degree of soft soils was adjusted by adding cement with different masses, salt particles were used to construct macropore structure, and vibration drainage tests with confining pressures of 40,70,120 kPa were conducted for structural soft soils with void ratios of 1.3,1.5,1.7,cement mass fractions of 2%,4%,6%,and salt particle mass fractions of 0,5%,10%to analyze vibration drainage effect of soft soils under influences of three structural factors of void ratio, cementation degree, and macroporous structure. The results show that the void ratio has the greatest influence on the vibration drainage effect of structrual soft soils. At the same confining pressure, the vibration drainage volume of structural soft soils increases with the increase of void ratio, and decreases with the increase of cementation degree and macropore structure. The increase of confining pressure can deteriorate the vibration drainage effects of structural soft soils. At medium and low confining pressures, the influence of cementation degree on vibration drainage effect of structrual soft soils is great and gradually decreases with the increase of confining pressure, while the influence of macropore structure on vibration drainage effect of structrual soft soils is small.
