Temporal-Spatial Distribution Characteristics of Nitrate Content in Shallow Groundwater in Well Irrigation Area
To investigate the current situation and main influencing factors of groundwater nitrate nitrogen pollution in well irrigation area,Maqiao Town,Jingjia Town,Tianzhuang Town and Qifeng Town in Huantai County,Shandong Province were selected as the research area.Cluster analysis,Piper three-line graph and correlation analysis were used. The char-acteristics of water chemistry,temporal-spatial distribution characteristics of nitrate nitrogen content in shallow groundwa-ter and the main factors affecting nitrate nitrogen content in groundwater were studied. The results show that the chemical type of groundwater in the study area is mainly SO42--Na+ type, and the mass concentration of nitrate nitrogen in ground-water ranges from 3.40 mg/L to 46.08 mg/L,with an average value of 24.67 mg/L,and the over-standard rate is 63.70% .In terms of temporal-spatial distribution, the nitrate nitrogen content of groundwater in wet period is higher than that in other periods, and the nitrate nitrogen content of groundwater in central and southern and western regions is higher than that in eastern regions. The weak alkaline oxidation environment of shallow groundwater in the study area is conducive to the formation of nitrate nitrogen. The nitrate nitrogen content of groundwater in the study area is significantly affected by human activities, and the main reasons for the high nitrate nitrogen content are the application of agricultural nitrogen fertilizer and the discharge of domestic sewage and human and animal manure by rural residents.
