Practice of Campus Planning and Design Based on Regional Characteristics
To explore the feasibility of campus planning and designing according to regional characteristics,the concepts of large area and small area were proposed on the basis of relevant theoretical research.Taking the reconstruction plan-ning of East Campus of Shandong Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital as an example,the comprehensive influence of culture,location,fabric of the city and site status,cultural gene and development goals of the campus on the planning and design was discussed from 2 scale regional characteristics of city and campus,and combined with the prac-tice of planning and design for the reconstruction of traditional Chinese medicine hospital,the planning and design strategy was put forward.The results indicate that urban characteristics such as culture,location,and texture directly affect the overall style,distinctive features,and spatial layout of the planning scheme,and the current situation of the base,cultural genes,development goals,and other characteristics of the campus itself affect the planning and organization,architectural design,and indoor and outdoor environment of the campus.
