Preparation and Property of Asphalt Waste-based Foam Ceramics
To expand the high value-added reuse of asphalt waste, asphalt waste-based foam ceramics was prepared by organic foam impregnation method. The raw material composition, properties, sintering parameters and sample properties were studied by X-ray diffraction analysis,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, scanning electron microanalysis and other means. The results show that the asphalt waste is mainly composed of silica, complex oxides of sodium, calcium, aluminum and silicon, calcium carbonate and asphalt residual organic matter. There is a two-step decomposition of organic matter in the temperature range of 200~800 ℃.The porosity of foam ceramics sintered at 1 100 ℃ for 90 min is 65%,and there are Na0.45Ca0.55Al1.55Si2.45O8 complex oxides and a large number of spherical silicas on the surface, which make its compressive strength reach 1.01 MPa.
