街道和巷衡不仅是城市交通设施,也意味着空间骨架,以及运用路政来系统性改变空间状态的城市化手段.研究始于对传统上海县城老西门外丰富的近代城市化空间现象的关注,目标在于解析片区街衡体系的整体构成、演进及历史意义.文章以城市街坊为分析单元,在与其关联的多尺度层级上,基于市政当局与地主、人地关系及人际关系之间的三种互动,察悉内部交通空间生成的微观历史;进而从竖向形态、权属形态、历史形态的总结分析中,提炼出三层一六级的体系构成.最后,从街-衖复合结构这一形态学视角,探讨了对应的上海近代城市化特征.
Abstract
Streets and alleys are not only urban transportation infrustructures but also spatial frameworks and urbanization methods that can systematically change spatial forms through the design of road networks.The study focuses on the post-Opium War urbanization of the Laoximen(Old West Gate)area outside the old Shanghai town,analyzing the overall composition,evolution,and historical significance of the communication system in the area.Finally,it proposes a three-layer,six-level matrix,and finds out the characteristics that underlie Shanghai's century-long urbanization drive therefrom.
