Abstract
This paper reviews the Camphor Court,a new brainchild Vector Architects has completed in Jingdezhen's Taoxichechuan Cultural and Creative Industrial Park.Starting with the background of the project and requirements for industrial heritage conservation,it zooms in on how architects understand,protect,and reuse the special features of the site,its natural elements,and legacied industrial buildings in the design process,trying to pin down the design strategy Vector Architects has taken in morphing the old into the new.
