摘要
科学化的测量作为基础的空间管控、时间管控、类目管理方式,城市具体个体间直接、面对面的洽商被第三方规定的客观、抽象的间接体系所取代.这种今天被视作理所当然的科技、理性的控制方式对于建筑和城市究竟意味着什么?在日益复杂的城市格局中,建筑或者城市设计如何成为一种专业,在法规与感知中寻求真正遵循人性的调和道路?城市管理、规划政策又如何在保留普遍意义的逻辑合理性基础上,做到不仅以抽象的条款限制和降维人的体验?符合当代城市实践需要的诉诸经验性的城市是否可以存在?伴随柴场弄项目的设计落地,这些问题和思考始终不断出现,有些是笔者在设计构思阶段就在思考的问题,有些则在与规划管理及相关各方习惯性思维对接的现实中不断涌现.本文将以具体的、具有普遍性的老城更新项目作为契机,展现建筑师在实践中的深入体察,展望并探讨在将"理性洽商"作为科学化管理体系的总体构架下,保持体验,重现文化去符号化,回归生成性机制的重要路径.
Abstract
Scientific measurement is the basis of spatial control,time control,category management,and other methods to replace the direct face-to-face negotiation between specific individuals in the city with a third-party stipulated,objective,abstract indirect system.What does this kind of technology and rational control,taken for granted today,mean for buildings and cities?How can architecture or urban design become a profession seeking a true reconciliation of human nature in regulations and perceptions in the increasingly complex urban landscape?How can urban management and planning policies retain universal logical rationality,but achieve more than limiting and reducing human experience with abstract terms?Can Empirical Urbanism meet the needs of contemporary urban practice?These questions and thoughts have constantly appeared in the author's design implementation of the Chaichang Long project.While some were considered in the design conception stage,some continually surfaced during the actual docking with planning management and the established thinking of relevant parties.In this way,this article will take this specific and universal old city renewal project as an opportunity to show the architect's in-depth understanding in practice and look forward to"rational negotiation"as an important path of maintaining experience,reproducing cultural de-symbolization,and restoring culture as a generative mechanism under the overall framework of the scientific management system.
