Abstract
Despite the increasing prevalence of digital technology,drawing as a traditional method continues to play an irreplaceable role.The paper emphasizes that drawing is a process,not only a tool for expressing design ideas,but a way to reflect,self-criticize,and deeply understand the purpose and organization of architecture.By analyzing the drawing processes of architects such as the Perret Brothers,Adolf Loos,Eileen Gray,and Sigurd Lewerentz,it reveals the significance of drawing in capturing design inspiration,confirming design outcomes,and serving as a design discourse.
