摘要
随着中国城市发展进入存量时代,城市更新已成为国内外学术界和实践领域的焦点.传统的公共空间更新设计通常侧重于物理空间的改造,缺乏系统性的策略来增强空间活力和街区的可持续发展,容易导致社区割裂和公共性衰退.相比之下,巴西的城市更新实践在公共空间改造方面呈现出显著的切近性和包容性,具有较高的启发性和借鉴价值.文章通过对巴西建筑事务所设计的圣保罗艺术广场的分析,探讨了公共空间改造的创新路径.该项目位于圣保罗市中心,通过修复历史建筑与现代设计的结合,形成了一个具有强烈社会项目特征的公共艺术空间.设计不仅注重物理空间的重构,更强调通过基础设施介入和艺术融入来激发公共生活,增强空间的切近性和包容性,从而成功实现公共性的再生.这一案例为中国的城市更新提供了新的设计视角和理论参考.
Abstract
As China's urban development enters a stock-based phase,urban renewal has become a focal point in both academic and practical fields domestically and internationally.Traditional approaches to public space renewal tend to prioritize physical space modification,often lacking systematic strategies to enhance spatial vitality and neighborhood sustainability,which can lead to community fragmentation and a decline in publicness.In contrast,Brazil's urban renewal practices demonstrate notable accessibility and inclusiveness in public space transformations,offering significant inspiration and reference value.This paper analyzes the case of São Paulo's Praça das Artes,designed by a Brazilian architectural firm,to explore innovative pathways in public space renewal.Located in the center of São Paulo,this project combines historical building restoration with modern design,creating a public art space characterized by a strong social agenda.The design emphasizes not only physical space restructuring but also the integration of infrastructure and art to invigorate public life,enhancing the accessibility and inclusiveness of the space and successfully regenerating publicness.This case offers new design perspectives and theoretical insights for urban regeneration in China.
