Review on integrated energy system evaluation and carbon emissions accounting of industrial parks
Against the backdrop of energy scarcity, the vigorous development of integrated energy systems and the promotion of carbon emissions accounting in industrial parks are crucial avenues for energy conservation, emission reduction, transformation and upgrading of energy structures. Moreover, these endeavors align with the requirements of green and low-carbon development. This paper provides an overview of the development history, system forms and characteristics of comprehensive energy systems in industrial parks. It also reviews the current research status of evaluation index systems and methods for these systems both domestically and internationally. The characteristics of carbon emissions in industrial parks are analyzed, and the research status of carbon emissions accounting methods in industrial parks are combed. The existing problems were pointed out and the further research is prospected. The establishment of a more comprehensive evaluation index system and the application of combined evaluation methods for comprehensively assessing the industrial park's energy system represent the focal points for further research. It is suggested that a mixed greenhouse gas accounting method for industrial parks should be developed with the idea of full life cycle to address the existing challenges in the accounting system.
