As the basis for the transformation of resilient cities from theory to application,urban resilience research provides scientific reference for enriching the urban resilience evaluation system and promoting the sustainable development of the Jinan metropolitan area.Based on the concept of sustainable development,this paper constructs a comprehensive evaluation system for urban resilience in Jinan metropolitan area,and adopts comprehensive evaluation and obstacle degree models to explore the temporal and spatial characteristics of urban resilience and its hindrance factors.The results show that the urban resilience of Jinan metropolitan area is in a stable rising state,with an annual improvement rate of 6.30％,and has shifted from ecological resilience to economic resilience;The spatial distribution of urban resilience in the Jinan metropolitan area shows an uneven state,which mainly manifests itself as a spatial layout of high in the middle and low in the surrounding areas;The obstacles of Jinan metropolitan area are dominated by the economic resilience system,with an obstacle degree of＞30％,and ecological resilience system shows a rising trend.
