Measurement and analysis of high bracket support system for pylon upper cross beam of Hengzhou bridge
Measurement and analysis of bracket support system for pylon cross beam of long-span bridge is a key mean to ensure the bridge construction safety. The Hengzhou Bridge is a single-span double-hinged steel box girder suspension bridge with a main span of 400 m,whose upper cross beam of pylon was constructed by corbel bracket method. In this paper,a high corbel bracket support system for the construction of the upper cross beam of Hengzhou Birdge was designed, and the stress changes of the bracket system during the construction process were measured and analyzed. The finite element model of the step-by-step construction was established, and the structural safety of the bracket support system during the construction of the upper cross beam was calculated and analyzed. The results show that the poured structure of the cross beam can bear loads together with the bracket support system and share most of the later loads after tensioning prestress forming stiffness, resulting in relatively small strain development at each measurement point of the steel pipe bracket during the web pouring and subsequent construction steps. The calculated strain results of the numerical model are generally in good agreement with the measured results,so the numerical model can be used in the calculation and analysis of the step-by-step construction of the bracket support system for the upper cross beam. The proposed bracket support system can effectively meet the structural safety requirements the construction of the upper cross beam of the bridge.
