Experimental Study on the Spontaneous Combustion Law of Coal in Xinhe Coal Mine
In order to effectively predict and prevent coal spontaneous combustion accidents in the working face, fresh coal samples from the 7312 working face of Xinhe Coal Mine are taken as the research object to study the spontaneous combustion law of the No.3 coal seam.An oxidation programmed heating experiment is conducted on coal bodies using a coal spontaneous combustion programmed heating experimental platform. The results show that the coal samples from Xinhe Coal Mine can release CO under the condition of 30℃ and an air flow rate of 50.4 mL/min,with a CO content between 9.7×10-6 and 12.7×10-6;In the self heating stage, the oxidation temperature of coal is 70℃,transitioning from slow oxidation to accelerated oxidation process. At 70℃,the amount of CO released by coal samples oxidation is 3-4 times higher than at room temperature, and the increase in coal oxidation rate is 0.6×10-6-0.8×10-6/℃;During the secondary oxidation process, the CO generation rate, oxygen consumption rate, and maximum exothermic intensity all improve compare to the initial oxidation, while the CO2 generation rate significantly decreases.
