Research on Forming Factors of Round Rod Briquette Based on Vacuum Extrusion Technology
The use of dry high-pressure(15-20 MPa)roller forming mechanism for Yankuang pillow shaped coal has problems such as shortened roller skin life cycle, increased maintenance costs, and the inability of pillow shaped coal to be used in automated furnaces.Combining the abundant bituminous coal resources of Yankuang, using 0-3 mm bituminous coal as raw material and vacuum extrusion molding technology, the round rod shaped coal is prepared using wet forming method. The influence of particle size ratio, forming pressure and moisture, drying time, and binder on the forming quality of round rod shaped coal is studied, providing parameter guidance for equipment selection in pilot systems and industrial coal production line design. The results show that the particle size of fine coal after two crushing operations using a two-stage hammer breaking equipment can reach a tightly packed state, with a particle size of 1-3 mm accounting for 65%;The extrusion pressure is negatively correlated with the moisture content of the material. The normal molding pressure is 3-5 MPa,and the required amount of external water is calculated based on 25%of the molding moisture content in the production line;Set the boundary conditions of the drying theory formula to provide a basis for calculating the drying time at different drying temperatures.Using a mesh belt dryer,it is necessary to dry for 4 hours at a drying temperature of 130℃;Selecting 2%clay as an inorganic binder results in a higher quality of briquette than bentonite binder, resulting in lower economic costs.
