Experimental Study on the Shortest Spontaneous Combustion Period of the No.11 Coal Seam in Jiangjiawan Coal Mine
Taking the No.11 coal seam of Jiangjiawan Coal Mine as the research object,experimental ways such as coal industrial analysis,coal spontaneous combustion tendency chromatographic oxygen absorption identification,differential scanning calorimetry and gas tracing are used to determine the industrial composition,coal spontaneous combustion tendency level,specific heat of coal at different temperatures,and coal spontaneous combustion indicator gas of this coal seam.Based on this,the shortest spontaneous combustion period of this coal seam is comprehensively determined.The research results show that the moisture content of coal is 0.90%,the ash content is 6.58%,and the volatile content is 29.02%;The tendency level of coal seam spontaneous combustion belongs to Class I,and the natural tendency is prone to spontaneous combustion.The critical temperature for coal heating and oxidation is 162℃,and CO is the sensitive gas for evaluating coal spontaneous combustion.Based on the spontaneous combustion characteristics of this coal seam and combined with the mathematical model of coal spontaneous combustion,the shortest spontaneous combustion period of this coal seam is calculated to be 48 days.This data can provide technical parameter support for the mining rate of the No.11 coal seam and the prevention and control of spontaneous combustion in the goaf.
