Research and Optimization on the Layout and Safety Staggered Distance of Adjacent Coal Seam Simultaneous Mining Roadways
In view of the unreasonable layered simultaneous mining staggered distances of the 6th coal and the 10th coal in Sucun Coal Mine,as well as the upper and lower working faces mining affected by mutual influence of dynamic pressure, resulting in problems of roof caving, wall fragmentation, and support damage in the working face and so on,a combination method of theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, and engineering application is used to optimize and study the layout location and staggered distance of adjacent coal seam simultaneous mining working face roadways. The research results indicate that considering the stress variation characteristics of the surrounding rock of the 10th coal seam roadway under different mining ways,it is determined to adopt an aligned type layout for the upper and lower coal seam roadways;considering the movement of overlying rock during the lower coal seam mining, the coal pillar in the lower coal seam section should be greater than 16.7 m;the reasonable staggered distance of the working face during simultaneous mining of the upper and lower coal seams is around 45 m.The application of research results in engineering practice shows that the force of the working face support is stable during the simultaneous mining period, achieving safe and efficient simultaneous mining of adjacent coal seams. This has important guiding significance for the mining of coal seam groups under similar conditions.
