Research on Deformation and Movement Characteristics of Overlying Rock in Extra-thick Coal Seam Mining Under Super-thick Conglomerate Layer
The deformation and movement of the overlying super-thick conglomerate layer in top coal caving mining directly affect the manifestation of mine pressure in the fully mechanized mining face.Based on the geological and mining conditions of the fully mechanized caving face in Qianqiu Coal Mine, numerical simulation methods are used to study the deformation and movement characteristics of the overlying super-thick conglomerate layer in fully mechanized caving mining. As the fully mechanized caving face advances, the overlying rock of the coal seam gradually deform, move and collapse, causing layer separation and horizontal displacement of the super-thick conglomerate layer. The horizontal displacement amount L(x)at the measuring point is a nonlinear function of the advancing distance C1 of the fully mechanized caving face and the horizontal distance x from the measuring point to the open cut eye.Similar simulation results indicate that when the advancing degree of the fully mechanized caving face is 665 m,the first collapse of the super-thick conglomerate layer occurs. The research conclusion provides technical support for the control of surrounding rock in fully mechanized caving mining.
