Analysis of Gas Geological Characteristics in the Peripheral Blocks of Chenzhao Coal Mine
Gas geological research is an important foundation for effectively guiding the prediction and prevention and control of gas in mines.Identifying the occurrence laws of gas in mine areas is of great significance for efficient, green, and safe production in coal mines.Based on the coal exploration data and experimental test results of coal seam samples in the peripheral blocks of Chenzhao Coal Mine, laboratory testing and gas geological analysis methods are used to study the geological characteristics of minable coal seams and gas in the peripheral blocks of Chenzhao Coal Mine. The influence of geological structure, coal seam roof and floor, hydrogeological conditions, and magmatic rock on gas occurrence is discussed. The results show that natural ingredients of gas in one5 and two1 coal seams in the study area are both carbon dioxide-nitrogen zone;the coal seam gas content in one5 and two1 coal seams are 0-0.05 m3/t and 0-0.06 m3/t,respectively.The gas content in the entire area is relatively low,and the regularity of gas occurrence is not obvious;faults and magmatic rocks are important factors affecting the occurrence of gas in this area.
