Optimization of Gas Extraction System in the No.8 Coal Seam of Nianyan Coal Mine
In order to reduce the workload of mine roadway excavation and improve the resource recovery rate, the No.8 coal seam of Nianyan Coal Mine adopts the coal mining technology method of retaining roadway along goaf, which has a different gas migration law compared to traditional coal mining technique. In order to solve the problem of gas disasters caused by the new coal mining method, and to address the problem of large gas emissions from adjacent layers, through analyzing the distribution characteristics of the"three zones"of the overlying rock strata after mining in the stoping working face,it is proposed to use high position drilling to extract gas from adjacent layers. The relevant parameters of the extraction drilling construction are determined through on-site experiments, and the gas extraction methods and technical parameters in the new and old goaf are optimized at the same time.Through on-site testing, the gas extraction volume of the adjacent layer of the No.8 coal seam is 12.39 m3/min after using high position drilling extraction, and after extracting by using the current goaf intubation method, the current goaf extraction volume is 15.77 m3/min,the gas extraction rate of the stoping working face is 57.15%.The study of extraction optimization improves the gas extraction efficiency of the No.8 coal seam in Nianyan Coal Mine, and the extraction effect and extraction concentration achieve the expected effects.
