Analysis of Fatigue Characteristics of Rocker Arm Idler Shaft of Coal Mining Machine
The long-term operation of the idler shaft of the coal mining machine rocker arm reduction box under alternating loads and heavy load working conditions can easily cause fatigue damage to the idler shaft, leading to a decrease in the service performance of the coal mining machine and even causing safety accidents. In order to ensure the safe and stable operation of the coal mining machine,it is necessary to analyze the fatigue characteristics of the idler shaft and evaluate its fatigue life;Conduct force analysis on the idler shaft, clarify the forces that affect the fatigue characteristics of the structure and their calculation methods;Establish a 3D finite element model of the idler shaft, and obtain the deformation and stress distribution characteristics of the idler shaft through static analysis;Integrate finite element mechanics information, measured load data, and material fatigue characteristics in nCode DesignLife software to perform fatigue analysis on the idler shaft. The results show that fatigue damage is prone to occur in the shoulder area of the shaft. If the coal mining machine works for 16 h every day,the fatigue life of the idler shaft is about 5.5 a.The research results can provide a basis for the optimization design of the idler shaft and the health monitoring of the operating status of the coal mining machine rocker arm structure.
