Analysis of Separation Performance and Parameter Matching of Swirler for Coal Preparation
Aiming at the separation performance and its parameter matching issues of the swirler in coal selection work, based on the FX350 type swirler, the structural composition and working principle of the FX350 type swirler are analyzed, and the velocity and pressure distribution of its internal flow field are studied. The influence of different flow field morphologies in the swirler on separation efficiency is revealed.Experimental and simulation analysis methods are used to explore the significant effects of structural parameters such as swirler diameter, cone angle, inlet size and others on separation efficiency. It is found that adjusting operating parameters such as feed concentration, feed flow rate, installation angle and others is crucial to improve separation efficiency.By adjusting the feed concentration to 14 g/L,feed flow rate to 80 m3/h,and installation angle to 80°,the swirler exhibits the best separation performance.Response surface methodology is used for parameter matching analysis, and the constructed mathematical model is validated by variance analysis and error statistics, demonstrating a high degree of predictive accuracy. The on-site verification shows that by precisely controlling operating parameters, the separation efficiency of the swirler can be improved.
