No.9 Coal Seam Coal Quality Characteristics and Its Sedimentary Environment Analysis in Majialiang Mine
In order to discuss the Taiyuan Formation coal seam coal quality characteristics and its ancient coal forming environment in the Carboniferous system,coal samples from the No.9 coal seam of Majialiang Mine are studied and collected,research and analysis are conducted from the aspects of physical properties,coal rock characteristics,chemical properties and process performance of the coal samples,etc,the sedimentary environment during coal formation is determined.The research results indicate that the No.9 coal seam is located in the Taiyuan Formation of the Carboniferous system,with a coal seam thickness of 0.79-20.53 m and an average thickness of 11.49 m;The macroscopic coal rock type is mainly semi dark type coal,followed by semi bright type coal,with a small amount of dim type coal;The microscopic coal rock components are mainly composed of vitrinite and inertinite,followed by semivitrinite and exinite.Analyze the relationship between the content of vitrinite and inertinite in the microscopic components,the amount of organic sulfur and inorganic sulfur(iron sulfide sulfur and sulfate sulfur)in the sulfur content,the amount of the ash composition index(K),m(100*MgO/Al2O3),and n[CaO/(CaO+Fe2O3)]in the coal ash composition,and determine that its sedimentary environment is a quagmire swamp strong reducing environment influenced by seawater.
