Research on In-situ Modified and Enhanced Gas Extraction Technology for Low-permeability Coal Seams
In view of the practical problems of poor coal seam permeability, large difficult of extraction, poor extraction effect, long extraction time and so on in coal seams of Wangjialing Mine, taking the 12315 working face of Wangjialing Mine as the engineering background, the research methods of engineering testing and comparative analysis are adopted to study the gas extraction effect of the No.2 coal seam after coal seam heat injection modification and enhancement.Through comparing the experiments, the gas extraction effects before and after heat injection are analyzed, and the usability of in-situ modified enhanced gas extraction is clarified. The results show that the average mixed flow rate before and after heat injection and unmodified extraction boreholes increases by 2.5-3.1 times compared to before heat injection and modification, and the average purity increases by 2.8-3.9 times compared to before heat injection and modification, achieving the expected goals and greatly shortening the extraction time of coalbed methane. The results of engineering testing can be used to guide on-site gas extraction work and provide reference and guidance for similar mines.
