Assembly error analysis of motor based on polyhedron model
The accumulation of deviation of each part during motor assembly will affect the motor air gap, leading to the decrease of motor performance and assembly quality. Therefore,it is necessary to conduct tolerance analysis on the air gap between the fixed rotor of the motor after assembly.Taking the motor air gap as the assembly function requirement, the polyhedron model on the assembly deviation transfer path was established, and the polyhedron model of series and parallel assembly structure was calculated by Minkowski summation and intersection. Finally, the variation range of assembly air gap along the radial translation was obtained.3DCS was used to simulate the motor air gap based on Monte Carlo method, and the accuracy and rationality of assembly errors obtained by polyhedral model method were verified, which has certain reference value for the tolerance design of motor.
