Reliability analysis of automobile hub bearing combined with Romax
Taking the front-right wheel hub bearing of a certain model of front wheel drive car as the research object,the hub bearing was analyzed by Hertz theory,and the contact stress was obtained after 3D modeling.Load spectrum was edited by Romax,and the theoretical results were compared with the simulation results.Finally,using Latin hypercube sampling,first-order second-moment reliability analysis method was used to analyze and calculate the bearing dynamic reliability and sensitivity.The results showed that the method of auto-hub bearing reliability based on Romax could effectively analyze the car wheel reliability and sensitivity in design process and could be used as automobile wheel hub type matching and design method.
