Research on impact of medium-sized dump truck on actual road pollutant emissions in different gears
In order to evaluate the pollutant emission level of the dump truck under different gear driving conditions, two actual road emission tests were carried out on a China VI heavy-duty diesel vehicle using portable emission testing equipment(PEMS),and the comprehensive emission test was determined with reference to GB 17691-2018 Pollutant Emission Limits and Measurement Methods for Heavy-duty Diesel Vehicles(China Stage VI).The results showed that the gear level affected the exhaust temperature of the engine, thereby affecting the NOX emissions, and the NOX pollutants were lower at high speeds. The NOX specific emission was 225.6 mg/(kW·h)at high gear and low speed, and 73.2 mg/(kW·h)at low gear and high speed, which was reduced by 67.6%.The PN ratio emission was 9.74×1010#/(kW·h)at high gear and low speed and 8.57×1010#/(kW·h)at low gear and high speed, which was reduced by 12%.
