Optimization of rear-row roar problem of a certain PK model
In response to the issue of rear-row roaring in a certain PK model, the main reasons for the rear-row roaring during vehicle acceleration and idle conditions were analyzed. It was found that the main reasons for the roaring were the excitation of the intake air flow in the intake system and the second-order excitation of the engine. Two optimization schemes were proposed:one was to increase the stiffness of the air filter support sleeve, and the other was to improve the axial flexibility of the corrugated section of the air filter outlet pipe.Experimental verification showed that after adopting the optimization scheme,a certain PK model had no obvious rear-row noise near 1 850 r/min,effectively reducing the rear-row noise and improving the ride comfort of the vehicle.
