不同厚度隔热材料的电池模组热扩散研究

以锂离子电池热失控蔓延抑制为目标,针对一种小型模组,触发使其发生热失控,研究不同材料及厚度的隔热材料对热蔓延抑制的效果.实验结果表明,只考虑隔热很难抑制热量在模组间的蔓延,电池均会发生热失控;添加液冷板并设定一定的流速,在隔热材料和液冷板的协同作用下成功抑制热蔓延,次节电池的散热和吸热很快达到平衡,未发生热失控,为选择最合适的隔热材料方案提供了依据.
Research on thermal propagation of battery modules based on thermal insulation materials with different thicknesses
Aiming at the thermal runaway suppression of lithium-ion battery,a mini module was triggered to study the effect of different materials and thicknesses of thermal insulation materials on thermal runaway suppression.The experimental results show that it was difficult to restrain the spread of heat between batteries only considering thermal insulation,and thermal runaway would occur in all batteries.The liquid cooling plate was added and a certain flow rate was set,and the heat spread was successfully suppressed under the synergistic effect of the thermal insulation material and the liquid cooling plate,and the heat dissipation and heat absorption of the second battery were quickly balanced without thermal runaway.The results provide a basis for selecting the most suitable insulation material scheme.
