Optimal design of feed water pump for CDQ waste heat boiler
The fluctuation of extraction steam quantity in the power generation process of recovering residual heat from dry quenching was greatly influenced by downstream load, resulting in fluctuations in the amount of steam supplied by the waste heat boiler, boiler pressure, and intermittent or continuous low-flow operation of the high-pressure feed water pump(flow rate Q<30%of the design flow rate). This will lead to problems such as cavitation, excessive vibration, grinding of balancing disk, and high bearing temperatures. The DGB150-140×15 multi-stage feed water pump was taken as the research object.A high-stability,long-shaft rotor structure system design method was employed to improve the torsional stiffness and strength of the rotor system. The intensity of"secondary reflux"of the pump was weakened to ensure the operational stability and reliability of the pump under low-flow conditions. The design incorporated an integrated structure of the bearing bracket, pump inlet, and outlet sections,as well as a combination of large and small balance drums to meet the requirements of national standards and foreign owners for the temperature and vibration of the oil-lubricated journal bearings and rolling bearings.
