Analysis and countermeasure study on abnormal noise of side window sunshades of a certain midibus
In the performance test of a certain midibus on rough roads such as suburban roads,Belgian pavements, and cobblestone roads, there were distinct metallic"clanking"sounds from the top of the side windows, noticeable rattling noises from the pull rods of the side window sunshades, and scraping noises when lowering the sunshade fabric in the fixed position.Starting with a phenomenological analysis, the sources of the abnormal noises as the pull rods of the sunshades, internal spring locking mechanisms, and the top casing of the sunshade assembly were initially identified.Further investigation into their internal structures and the mechanisms causing the noises was conducted. Finally, optimization measures were developed for the pull rods, top roller, and internal locking mechanisms of the sunshades to address the root causes of the noises. The effectiveness of these measures was verified, effectively resolving the noise issue. It has practical significance in deepening the understanding of the causes of abnormal noise in sunshade assemblies and finding effective control measures.
