To meet pedestrian protection requirements,the front cover of the vehicle is weakened in structural stiffness.The final installation parts apply additional support force to the front cover,which can cause elastic deformation in areas with weak surface stiffness,resulting in uneven light and shadow under the light strip.This article uses a front cover simulation model to load mounting constraints,identify surface stress distribution,determine the problem of insufficient surface stiffness of the front cover,comprehensively analyze the impact of the front cover mounting components on the stress distribution of the front cover,and provide a method for evaluating the surface stiffness of the assembled front cover during the development stage.
